One of the strongest championships in international draughts began!

The Russian Championship in international draughts among men and women began in Odintsovo district in the Park hotel “Царский лес”. The first program started  on April  9th and the winners have already been determined.

We have already seen Alexander Georgiev’s championship finish many times at many tournaments. It is the end of the tournament that Alexander Georgiev always plays strongly and rarely when games with his participation end in a draw. But this time in the blitz program, the championship finish did not allow to take first place. Alexander Hetmansky managed to keep him. You can see the whole course of the struggle below.
