TO ALL FEDERATIONS AND PLAYERS
Subject: Official Communication
Dear Sir/Madam,
During its meeting on December 12, the FMJD Board decided to reduce the suspensions imposed on the 65 suspended players and
all players from the Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan federations. As a result, these players will be eligible to resume competitions as of
January 1, 2026.
In reaching this decision, the Board carefully considered several factors, including communication, the nature and severity of the
violations, applicable IOC rules and recommendations, and the sanctions already served.
The FMJD emphasizes that strict compliance with all regulations remains essential. Any further violations may result in renewed or
additional disciplinary measures.
Finally, the FMJD expresses its sincere hope that ongoing peace negotiations will move beyond rhetoric and lead to concrete and
lasting peace.
We kindly request that all federations inform their players accordingly and ensure strict adherence to FMJD rules and
obligations.
The FMJD takes this opportunity to wish all federations, athletes, officials, and partners a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Digitally signed by
Jan van Dijk (Netherlands)
