The long-awaited generational change in the Netherlands

The last Dutch International Draughts Championship pleased with new names and the performance of a new generation. The young and talented Lisa Scholtens, Fleur Kruysmulder and Yulia Bintsarovska competed well and fought for the first place until the very last round.
It will take another two or three years and we will see these checkers, as it seems to us, at the world championship, among worthy competitors for prizes. In the meantime, which is good news, draughts among women in Holland have come to life and we hope this stream will not run out.
