Natalia Sadowska confidently won the national championship
Natalia Sadowska confidently completed the distance of the national championship and deservedly won. None of the opponents were able to win Natalia and the closest rivals in the trio Marta Bankowska and Katarzyna Stanczuk, having played with her in a draw, then lost so necessary points with other draughts players.
A little bit about Natalia from official sources:
She started playing draughts at the age of 8, training with her coach Leszek Petlitsky. Her first success on the international stage came in 2001, when she won the bronze medal at the European Championship (under 10 years old). On April 28, 2021, during one of the games in the World Championship match she removed her country’s flag from the playing table in solidarity with a Russian athlete after a high-profile scandal.
Her greatest success came in 2016, when she won the silver medal in the first World Championship in Turkish Draughts and defeated Olga Kamyshleeva in a match for the World Crown in International Draughts with a score of 56:28.
