This well-known, but somewhat forgotten in recent years, phrase was unexpectedly confirmed the other day: in Kemer (Turkey) at the opening of the European Championship in international draughts among people with disabilities the President of the International Committee of the Disabled in Draughts (lDCD) Leszek Petlicki presented the Russian grandmaster (blind sports) Ivan Smurkov with the Order “For services in the field of international cooperation and development of relations between people”!
