One of the strongest national championships in the world begins today. The World and European champions, the current champions of the Republic of Belarus, Emma Savras and Artyom Tikhonov are taking part. Also, for the first time, Georgy Taranin, a native of St. Petersburg, will take part in the championship.
The International Draughts Federation (IDF), together with the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation, is holding the Stars of Uzbekistan 2025 International Competition in accordance with the Competition Calendar for 2025.
The Mongolian Junior Championships always attract our attention. We see an ever-growing competition and a fairly large number of participants.
The festival program traditionally includes personal tournaments on exciting board games: 100-square draughts, 80-square draughts, giveaways, two-way draughts, Column draughts (Towers), as well as go, bridge, reversi, Gomoku (and Connect-6), renju, tawrel, shogi, Makarenko and Xiangqi chess.
What the bolsheviks from the big international federation dreamed of (already not so big and not so…), came true! Thanks to their fruitful work (we won’t explain where), a new international federation IDA has been founded! The international calendar of the World and European Championships with the admission of participants at the expense of the organizers has already been published. There is a Choice now!!
In our difficult time of replacing moral principles with material goals, without the constructive idea of the community of all and the equal value of everyone before God, it is very difficult to preserve the most important thing – Love and Respect for a Person. It can be difficult to maintain Decency, Self-Loyalty, and Humanity.
Money, egocentrism and ambition, as well as fragmented perception of reality, along with the primitivism of hobbies, have become a real scourge of our time. Some have begun to forget their History, their Culture, and many other things that form the basis of our life on Earth.
But.. We will overcome all the difficulties and trials that have been given to us! And we will become even stronger!

The Unified Draughts Exam has been held for the fourth year in a row! Each of the draughts players can test themselves and get a Certificate of their knowledge. This year, the Unified Draughts Exam will be held on December 29 and 30! Hurry up to take part!
It was warm and festive in Bratislava. Some of our players managed to visit the Bratislava Castle and stroll through the streets of lively Bratislava! In the evening in Bratislava, it is unusually noisy and youth speech sounds in different European languages. We enjoyed another meeting with friends! And we have more of them after this tournament.
Any winner of the matches for the title of world champions will have to have a sediment. And then there should be a question: “Am I the best? Am I the first? Among those who were left without those who were unfairly excluded? Am I really the best, or is this just an artificially created reality for me?” But whether the participants of the matches will ask themselves this question, we are not sure.
In 2025, there will be big changes in the draughts sport. Small tectonic shifts and shifts of the centers of gravity are possible. But, already this year, very interesting competitions were held with the strongest grandmasters of the world.
The competition in the national team championship will be very intense. Almost all clubs have both strong players and young talented draughts players who are just taking their first steps at the highest level.
Mongolian draughts players rightfully occupy a leading position in the world. In terms of the number of international masters among men and women, they are significantly ahead of many countries. As well as the strength of the national championships.
