One of the strongest Russian draughts championships in the world is starting!

One of the strongest national championships in the world begins today. The World and European champions, the current champions of the Republic of Belarus, Emma Savras and Artyom Tikhonov are taking part. Also, for the first time, Georgy Taranin, a native of St. Petersburg, will take part in the championship.
We have selected several players for whom we will cheer and closely monitor their games. We are also attracted by the rules of the tournament regulations. We have recently introduced several rules in our tournaments:
- The participants of the competition are prohibited from using mobile phones and other means of mobile communication during the game. During the rounds in the meeting room, the mobile phones of participants, referees, officials, journalists, and spectators must be turned off. Persons who violate this prohibition may be removed from the meeting room.
- A participant who is late to the game receives a warning. If the participant is late for the game again, he may be punished with defeat in a micro-match.
Before the start of the round, participants are required to hand over all electronic devices. If the presence of an electronic device is detected during the round, the participant is punished with defeat in the micro-match.
During the game, the participant can only talk to the judges or the opponent, as far as it is allowed by the rules. Game analysis is not allowed in the meeting room.
