Moldovan Russian Draughts Championships

This past weekend, the Moldovan Russian Draughts Championships were held in the Rapid and Blitz categories. We haven’t seen Nikolai Guba and Valery Poleshchuk at international tournaments in quite some time, and they put in a very solid performance.

It is worth noting the success of Alexander Karaulnykh and the courage shown by the female competitors Elena Skovitina and Anna Taran. Once again, they have proven that they can compete on equal footing with the men.
