It’s great when the national championship is held at a resort. (Rapid, Blitz)
At one of the most famous terminal resorts in Europe, in Chianiano Terme, the Italian Championship in draughts on a large board is taking place. For the 62nd time, Italian draughts players are gathering to compete for the national championship medals. The focus is on the leader of the Italian team, Scaggiante Alessio, and De Lellis Jacopo, who has been performing well recently.
The famous commune of Chiantiano Terme is known for its local thermal springs, which were used as early as the time of the ancient Roman emperor Octavian Augustus. The main focus of the balneological treatment in Chiantiano Terme is the prevention and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases. Another unique feature of Chiantiano Terme is the use of the healing properties of the thermal springs to treat diabetes.
We also note that the Italian Championship is equipped with cameras, and the games can be viewed both live and in recording. We share links to the results and the channel of the Italian Draughts Federation.
