In a cozy, home-like setting with parental care
This tournament has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. Here, you’ll be immersed in an amazing atmosphere of love for checkers. You can meet a living legend of world draughts. Heinar Jahu is already 92 years old! He used to ride his bicycle to previous tournaments and easily beat younger players. He is a man of his era. He was there at the very beginning of various international tournaments. He refereed matches featuring the legendary Andris Andreiko.
Thanks to a group of parents who care about their children’s future and motivate them to achieve high results, a tournament is held annually in the Nomme district. Estonian children participate in major international tournaments organized by various federations and are constantly improving their skills and knowledge of the world of draughts. We have watched Kurik Kevin and Lokotar Priit grow into strong players, while Zaplatin Martin and Puumann Polina have made significant progress. We are very happy for these children and wish them continued success.
We would like to express our gratitude to the management of the “Nomme” draughts club for taking care of the tournament participants, and our personal thanks to Marina Puumann for her excellent officiating.
We will create a photo album dedicated to the tournament in “Nomme” in the Media section of our website. We are also open to collaborating with other tournaments.
P.S. Sports free from politics and sanctions against children. By inviting Vsevolod Teterin, the organizers taught two proud yet pathetic federations a lesson in conduct, ethics, and honesty. Our website team would like to extend special thanks to the organizers. As for the pathetic, useless, miserable, and cowardly ones, let them continue to make use of their limited mental capacities.
