Ulaanbaatar hosts the national championship in international draughts. Perhaps that is why the team was not represented at the World Team Championship in Portugal. The composition, as always, is bright and memorable.
The Russian Draughts World Cup will soon be held by IDF in Mongolia. This event will be the next chapter in the development of Russian draughts and the attraction of new countries.
In the meantime an equally interesting and intense national championship in international draughts is taking place. As has been noted more than once, Mongolian draughts players are very strong and show impressive results in the international arena. Most recently they won the World Championship among boys and girls winning almost all the medals in each group.
