This weekend, many European Union countries hosted youth championships on big and small boards. Poland hosted the national championships among boys and girls in international draughts in Rapid and Blitz programs.
Almost useless Russian draughts tournaments have been held in Latvia. Considering that local draughts players have not participated anywhere else (world and European championships) for 5 years, all Russian draughts competitions are a waste of time. If it helps to launder public money, let them enjoy it. Just think about it – 5 years of stupidly wasted time not to go anywhere! It’s kind of tough! Spiritual, if you’ll excuse the word, .mast….tion
