In Folloniki, the patron saint of which is St. Leopold, the European team championships in international draughts will be held. Unfortunately. the composition of these championships suggests sad thoughts.
The official document on this and on the establishment of the association itself was signed within the framework of the first International Draughts Tournament of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries. The first international draughts tournament of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries in Ufa is already coming to an end. The capital of the republic gathered the strongest draughts players from 14 countries, including Brazil, India, China, Mongolia, Iran, Turkey and many others.

It worked! Guys, this is just a success! According to the version of our federation with President V. Vesperis and the management team: E. Matveev, R. Paegle, J. Stals, A. Trasko, there is a shortage of women in Latvia. They found only 6 who know and, importantly, know how to play Russian checkers.
It is quite difficult to justify the weak Latvian championship in Russian draughts by a simple generational change. The winner will receive a modest cash prize and a trip to “nowhere”. We have not seen the female line-up until today.
