And talented children have nowhere else to play and receive cash prizes, as well as improve their skills, both in Russian draughts and international draughts. (Except for tournaments with adults, pensioners and first-graders in a blitz in a closed area with toilet paper control by a judge, for cookies, which obviously do not add skill to anyone).
The older brother gradually lost the girls on whom he had staked his entire career. Until recently, he raised the “front-line hundred grams” in the park, today he continues to evade any responsibility for both his words and actions, skillfully disguising himself in the current conditions. The younger brother created a boys’ team, which received “marks” from independent players and draughts players from other countries about match-fixing and also skillfully disguises itself as a decent one…..
In a certain subculture, they would quickly get the nickname “half-pokers”. Well, never mind about them…
The result of all activities, starting from a certain period, was an absolute decrease in the playing level and skill of local draughts players. And artificial sets of U-19 and U-16 groups create the appearance of something that, in principle, no longer exists. Russian checkers (64 checkers). And then how to restore this sport? After all, then, in order to create competition in international competitions, it will be necessary to spend at least three years (or even all 5 years), provided that there are coaches for this type of draughts in the country. (Guntars may not be enough for everyone).
