Useless grandmothers and unemployed grandfathers living in a parallel reality

The Soviet era gave rise to many “freeloaders” and ‘unemployed’ in the world of draughts. For many people, the Soviet era created the illusion that thanks to draughts, it was possible to live in a capitalist society and enjoy social “benefits” throughout their adult lives in the post-Soviet space.

And many “Leninists” of Soviet draughts and ‘pioneers’ of draughts remained faithful to the principles of state “freebies.” Throughout their adult lives, they remained dependent swamps in making independent decisions, never making a simple effort to just go to work.
And they drag others into their swamp, children who have fallen into checkers and their parents….

A frightening picture of a hopeless swamp is emerging. And while the grandmothers and grandfathers of Soviet checkers in one particular post-Soviet country, led by political idols, continue to indulge in draughts, this swamp will continue to swallow up more and more victims….

This is already the fifth year of a hopeless swamp, where unwanted Soviet draughts grandmothers gather. Once a year, they gather continuously to tell draughts anecdotes on the theme: “No, I haven’t played anywhere” and “No, I’m not going anywhere,” “Yes, no one needs me yet.”

Along with them, for the fifth year in a row, people who are absolutely useless and resemble men will gather. They are not going anywhere and are also gathering, like a group of anonymous alcoholics or drug addicts. What adequate parent would hold them up as an example to their children? What qualities would they draw attention to? Cowardice? Stylish clothes and jobs? Or lifelong self-satisfaction in draughts?

Someone wise once said: “They will come anyway… And they will agree to participate… And they will lie, lie mercilessly, saying that it was difficult for them to make a choice… And they will never admit their cowardice. And that they simply flushed more than five years down the toilet…”

And we are very pleased that Estonian children, unlike others, have a worthy example. Such as Marika Azojan and Algo Laidvee. They can be looked up to. And Hungarian children have them too, as do Moldovan children. And many other children, but these… who haven’t traveled anywhere in five years, don’t have such examples. Only unemployed old women and cowardly men…
