The Latvian championships in Rapid and Blitz game were held this weekend. There were no surprises. Always the second remained the second. And the leaders remained the leaders. It was this eternally second one who advocated conflict with the IDF at the time. Maybe that’s why he’ll always be second?
Unfortunately, as always, there are no new names to replace the outgoing and aging generation. And this means only one thing – the gradual extinction of the sport.
