Turkey is hosting the World Youth Draughts Championship for boys and girls. At the Čalimer Hotel, with its wonderful facilities, sunny weather, and fierce competition, it is difficult to predict the winner. But we think everyone is a winner: the draughts players, their parents, representatives of the federations, and many, many other people involved in these competitions.

Even a cursory glance at the conditions of the FMJD and IDF makes it clear who is developing draughts and creating its image, and who is destroying it and wallowing in political idols. But let’s put aside the intrigues and bad news. Sun, water, and lots of friends. And the music of draughts in Manavgat.
