Traditional Draughts tournament «Белые ночи-2025»

The White Nights tournament has been held in St. Petersburg for over 40 years and has long been a hallmark of St. Petersburg’s draughts scene. Over the years, the tournament has had various statuses, ranging from city competitions to World Cup stages. The number of countries and players participating in the event has steadily increased. In recent years, the White Nights tournament has been attended by some of the strongest players in Russia and around the world. Today, the White Nights tournament is one of the largest draughts tournaments in Russia.

The following competitions will be held as part of the «Белые ночи-2025» competition:

1) Regional competitions for men and women, with a minimum qualification of KMS.
Athletes representing physical culture and sports organizations in St. Petersburg, as well as in Russia and foreign countries (only upon personal invitation from the Russian Federation of Draughts in St. Petersburg), are allowed to participate in the competitions.

2) All-Russian competitions for young men and women in the following age groups:
— boys, girls (up to 17 years old) – no older than 2009, no lower than 3rd grade
— boys, girls (up to 14 years old) – no older than 2012, at least 3rd grade;
— boys, girls (up to 11 years old) – no older than 2015, no lower than 2nd junior division;
— boys, girls (up to 9 years old) – born in 2017-2019, at least 3rd junior division.
