The Russian Draughts World Cup stage has started in Turkey (Rapid)

The International Draughts Federation (IDF), in accordance with the Competition Calendar for 2025, is holding the World Cup in Turkey — the International competition “Turkey-2025”. Competitions are held in three disciplines: Lightning game, lightning game (Brazilian version of checkers-64), fast game. In all disciplines, open tournaments are held according to the Swiss system, according to the system of micro-matches of two games with a draw of initial moves and positions according to the official tables of the IDF in force on 01.01.2024.

On the first day of the World Cup competition, a Blitz tournament was held. A confident victory was won by D. Tsinman, who beat S. Belosheev in a head-to-head match in the fight for the first place. We are waiting for a sharp fight in the next program.
