Amanova Samia, a girl from Afghanistan, and Liu Pei, a grandmaster from China, take part in the World Cup in Tashkent. New countries and new players at the World Cup show, how much the IDF federation has advanced and strengthened over the years.
This is not the first time sunny Tashkent is hosting high-ranking competitions. Draughts are being developed in Uzbekistan and we already know more than 10 players who are worthily competing for prizes at the largest competitions in the world.
