“Sherochka and Masherochka” and the International Federation’s analysis (Results Rapid)
Can you imagine the following headlines: “Auschwitz prisoners welcome an exhibition of works by an Austrian artist with joy and flowers” or “Greek track and field athletes stripped of their gold medals from 848 B.C. after archaeologists analyzed doping samples found near Athens”? We can’t either, although given the events unfolding in the western part of the European continent, such news is entirely plausible.

You’ve known for a long time that “when God wants to punish a man, he takes away his reason.”
Yet another series of masterful and failed attempts by a so-called international organization. They’re holding a world team championship for men’s and women’s teams. They’ve gathered: 10 men’s teams and—get this!—6 women’s teams. This is yet another “success.” The leaders of this so-called global organization have long mocked the IDF (with whom they severed economic and political ties) and are now engaging in yet another act of spiritual self-indulgence. Soon, as we have already written, any tournament held under the emblem of the international federation will be able to call itself a world championship. And it won’t matter where it is held or who organizes it. Today we are witnessing the complete collapse of the international draughts movement.
What is noteworthy and important: 1. The world’s strongest draughts federations—the Dutch Draughts Federation and the Mongolian Draughts Federation—are not participating in any events, nor are the world’s top draughts players from Russia and Belarus. Holding such world championships without the world’s strongest players is a foolish endeavor and, from a sports marketing perspective, an idiotic idea. Let us remind you that if the Dutch Draughts Federation decides to operate independently, and its players want this nightmare of disqualifications to end—so that we might once again see A. Georgiev, A. Chizhov, and other geniuses in action—all they need to do is refrain from playing in FMJD tournaments. They don’t even have to withdraw from the federation. And supposedly, the international federation will fall apart.
By the way, not a single representative from the Americas and the Caribbean. Why is that? Is there no draughts there, or no money? 5. The main thing is that some countries will be represented that support the sanctions. More horror in draughts. Interest will only grow. For sure. It won’t be long before things really take off. But first—analysis!
Pee in a cup. Happiness is just around the corner.
2. The International Federation has approved an agreement with the Anti-Doping Committee. Now, at any moment, a draughts player will have to “pee” (pardon the pun) into a cup for a doping test. How this will help draughts is not specified. We have long felt that international checkers on the Western continent are controlled by chess players. Their goal is to discredit checkers as much as possible. Let’s try to compare why people are more likely to choose chess:
2.1. All the world’s national teams are competing in the chess tournament!
2.2. At every tournament, every effort is made to ensure that games are broadcast and that the media are well supported
2.3.On every continent, there are equal opportunities for players of all skill levels to compete in tournaments. There are youth sports programs.
But now that a supposedly international organization has signed an agreement with WADA, everything will of course change. After all, a checkers grandmaster “unexpectedly peeing in a cup” will attract more attention than broadcasts of the games. Logic? There isn’t any! Even now, during the so-called World Team Championship—there are no broadcasts all games !
In other words, there’s no money to ensure proper organization of World Cups and World Championships, but there is money for WADA dues. The world’s strongest players don’t participate in the championships, draughts players have no sports contracts, there’s no advertising market, yet there’s money for WADA dues. It’s worth asking whether WADA takes a piece of the leaders’ brains to conduct a spectral analysis of their intellectual functions. This is a fiasco, bro—they’re watching us…. And the chess players are freaking out.
Remember: “A WADA agent’s sudden appearance may catch you off guard. Draughts players, be prepared—keep your test results safe.”
Peaceful enemies are almost friends
3. We will demonstrate just how powerless the leadership of this so-called international federation is with one more example. The World Blitz Championship will be held in Riga. This is truly telling evidence of the current leadership’s weakness, their lack of resolve, and their inability to resolve the situation in world draughts going forward.
Just think about it! A federation that openly stands on the principles of the “Austrian artist,” voted against the current leadership of the international federation and confronted it, supports the mass and illegal disqualification of major draughts nations, and signs provocative letters against compliance with the Olympic Charter—take note! — has been granted the right to host the World Blitz Championship! Nonsense!
But apparently, the leadership of this so-called international organization likes being violated. And helpless.
Let’s take a stark example: Your wife has been raped. And instead of protecting her, you prescribe the rapist medication and a pass allowing him to visit your wife three times a week—but no more. And the rapist, abiding by the license you’ve issued, continues to do the same thing—but now on a legal basis.
We know they’ll come to Riga anyway. The herd will play anyway, no matter what banners they’re surrounded by. Hiding behind a checkers board, many will ignore reality. Because for many, checkers is an addiction, not a sport or a struggle for results. And addicted people are weak, infantile, and always avoid taking responsibility for their own lives and actions.
Will anything change in international checkers on the Western continent? No. There are no prerequisites for this. Youth sports are being completely destroyed. Young people see the absolute lack of prospects for the checkers movement in the West. And let’s repeat the main point: As long as the leadership is built on a foundation of scoundrels, political puppets, and clannishness in its worst form, checkers on the Western continent are doomed.
We’re waiting for a new center of power and unity to emerge. For now, it seems as though the “chess players” are calling the shots in the West. Then again… their rainbow flag is a fitting backdrop for analysis.
