We are close to a new method of conducting tournaments. The fact is that according to some heads-psychologists of the proud federation, the opening of the competition is a great stress. And therefore the opening of the competition cannot be combined on the same day with the first round. At the moment one of the proud federations begins to hold the opening 5 hours before the start of the first round. This is a success! Most likely an extra day will be allocated for the opening of the tournament in the future!

And it would be funny, if it wasn’t so sad. After all, the same thing happened at the World Cup in Riga. We could not find the logic in these actions. Apparently, there is not enough strength or intelligence to hold an hour-long opening, and then start the first tour. And only very deep managers can make an opening on a working day at 11 o’clock in the morning.

And it also causes a sad impression and amazement, one of the great psychologists of the federation, who is trying to take pictures of half of the participants from Latvia on the phone. Apparently, there is simply no money for a photographer. As well as predictive functions. As we wrote in a previous post about children’s prizes at the Riga Championship, this is a public tragedy of the mind.
