From the classics: People are divided into those who live to see retirement… and the rest. A pensioner is a person who is paid to not work. Old age should be respected as one’s near future, because everyone, if they’re lucky, will become an old man. The FMJD World Championship for Veterans is being held in Riga.
The Two-Faced One was also spotted in Riga. Apparently, he and his henchmen are preparing for the elections. There won’t be any changes for the better. One of the points in the program of the organization’s top secretariat is the refusal to pay for hotel expenses for the first number from each country at the Youth World Championships. The gang of leaders of the supposedly “worldwide” organization is quickly turning into a boarding house for old and impoverished “political fools.” However… we’ll have to wait a while longer.
As for the sports part of the competition, we are, as always, rooting for Nimbi, Fidele, and Tjon A Ong, Andrew. We wish them success and victory in this tournament. It is also worth noting that the Netherlands has the largest number of participants. A third of the participants come from this country. A well-developed structure always yields results. However, there are also representatives of federations where the average age is rapidly approaching 85. These “declining” federations can only “live out” their days in veteran tournaments. Some of these federations are guided by a simple principle: “After me, let everything burn. That’s enough for me.” …..
