The FMJD European Veterans Championship has started in Turkey. If it weren’t for the veterans – fans of draughts from the Netherlands -, the championship would not have taken place at all. They barely gathered as many as 9 people. In short, well done.
At the same time, at the same hour the FMJD leadership decided to hold the European Championship for the U-27 group. We recall how a year ago one of the general secretaries of this organization suggested punishing draughts players from Hungary for taking part in IDF tournaments. Now, if not for the draughts players from Hungary, the U-27 group would not have been able to exist.
Whatever this general secretary of the international federation doesn’t do, it’s all in the dust! A rare and very effective manager suffering from russophobia. But about it in the next article.
Meanwhile, at the IDF European Championship in Turkey representatives from 16 countries will gather starting from April 13!
