A market full of rotten vegetables with no one to hold accountable, and a field kitchen run by mummers
If you happen to see a so-called international organization for the disadvantaged and disadvantaged start using a field kitchen to feed refugees and all kinds of migrants, and then open a free lunch program in its office for the destitute and unfortunate, don’t be surprised. This has been their mission for a long time. Then they’ll invite some clown with a head shaped like a misshapen egg to start playing a Tarot card game on a checkerboard—don’t be surprised by that either. That’s just how it is for people with low intelligence in a so-called international organization.
In violation of all legal, collegial, and international agreements, the latest “misfits” of checkers have decided to hold a European championship in Brazilian draughts.
Now let’s take a look at the thinking of the leaders of this so-called international checkers organization, who seem to suffer from mild intellectual disabilities: 1. You can’t find an organizer for the European Youth Championship in August. You save it at the last minute. 2. At the same time, you fail to meet the International Olympic Committee’s requirement regarding the admission of children, which you mentioned at the international organization’s meeting in December. 3. You can’t even assemble a strong team or organize a World Team Championship. 4. You hold some strange Portuguese draughts championships, and they are a complete fiasco. 5. And now, in direct violation of international agreements, you announce a Brazilian draughts championship! As if that’s going to work out… Tell me, what’s wrong with the management of draughts on the Western continent?
After all, this all resembles the efforts of an impotent bull. Who thinks that if it didn’t work out five times in a row, then the tenth time will definitely work out. Even if you switch cows? When did the decline begin?
Background:
Long ago: When the IDF was formed and became an independent organization dedicated to the development of 64-square checkers, conflicts and the redistribution of spheres of influence reached their most intense phase. These conflicts hindered the development of checkers worldwide. The redistribution of spheres of influence (or, in economic terms, the division of market influence zones) spilled over to regional players and did nothing good for the market itself. However, it established and strengthened the IDF as an independent and financially robust organization that breathed new life into 64-square checkers.
Recently: Realizing that further market redistribution would sever important economic chains and understanding that the FMJD had completely lost its battle for 64-square checkers, it signed a legally binding cooperation agreement with the IDF. This document clearly delineates the boundaries of influence and stipulates strict adherence to the rules of the game: the FMJD retains the right to develop draughts on a large board, while the IDF is responsible for the development of 64-square draughts. It would seem that what could be better for the market and the development of marketing policy than when the major players have reached an agreement?
But no. Mr. “Live-Broadcast Foreign-Flag-Taker-Down” and his cronies are unilaterally denouncing this agreement without following the necessary legal procedures. Furthermore, the international federation, sinking to new lows, stoops to hosting low-quality tournaments and promoting politically biased agendas, and begins a policy of discriminating against athletes, grossly violating its own laws and the requirements of the Olympic Committee.
Just yesterday: Having only just taken office and right before the elections, the newly appointed head of the international organization travels to the IDF. There, he holds negotiations and reaches a verbal agreement that he wants to return to normal and legally sound relations regarding market division. He proposed this on his own initiative, understanding that the IDF is a stable and financially independent organization, the only one that has completely taken over the 64-square checkers market. There was also an agreement that the IDF would not engage in 100-square checkers. Period. Let’s repeat: the newly appointed head of 100-square checkers personally confirmed the verbal agreement.
What we see today: Yet another complete failure to honor the agreements reached. The market is once again being torn apart into small, impoverished fragments with no prospects for growth.
Let’s ask some simple questions:
- What are the prospects for the development of the Brazilian version of 64-square checkers, given the dire straits of the international organization?
- What are the prospects for Portuguese and other types of checkers given the complete lack of state funding for regional federations?
- With a complete lack of coaching resources, literature, and youth sports, what will become of the market in the future?
- If the goal is to pat the heads of the disguised, the destitute, and the parasites, then who is paying for this feast?
- and so on…..
And the main question: In the current situation, with whom on the Western continent should we negotiate regarding the planning and development of the draughts movement? Can we trust the words and promises of any leadership on the Western continent? What are these words worth?
Another important question: How will the participation of athletes from the Republic of Belarus in the upcoming European Youth Championships in Tallinn be ensured, given the decision of the International Olympic Committee?
It was not for nothing that we once wrote about the current leadership of this so-called international organization having the guts to stand up for itself. Judging by their recent actions, they simply don’t have any. Just as there is a lack of an important component in business: keeping one’s word and honoring agreements.
Based on the latest actions of this so-called international organization, a new powerhouse for hosting international championships and tournaments on the big stage may now emerge. And this powerhouse may end up having far greater financial resources than the currently impoverished international federation currently possesses.
Let’s recall: If you, like an impotent bull, cannot get things going in one area (with one cow), then you’re unlikely to succeed in other areas (with other cows). Because you are impotent.
Finally, we’d like to congratulate the French and Chinese teams, who managed to win the Blitz tournaments despite having modest lineups. They really outplayed their opponents.
And one more thing. Here are the wise words of the satirist M. Zhvanetsky on life without a brain.
