09.06.2026

Thanks to the My Draughts Journey channel, we were able to watch a live broadcast of the Dutch Blitz Championship. It was a thrilling spectacle, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that some of the blitz games were available to watch as video recordings. Once again, we noted that Fleur Kruysmulder had competed in the men’s division. And we admire this young woman’s courage.

In the homeland of Roger Milla and in places where Nepomnyashchy is remembered

Yaoundé (French: Yaoundé [ja.unde]) is the capital of Cameroon and the administrative center of the Central Region and the Mfoundi Department. Almost the entire capital is comprised of neighborhoods located along its main thoroughfare—Kennedy Avenue—as well as on the hills adjacent to it.

It was in Cameroon’s capital that the great Cameroonian soccer player and star striker of the national team at the 1990 World Cup in Italy was born. At that time, the Cameroonian national team, under the leadership of Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchy, became the first African country to reach the quarterfinals of the World Cup. It was only in the quarterfinals in Naples that the Cameroonians, in a hard-fought battle that went into extra time, lost to the English national team 2–3, even though they had been leading 2–1 with just 8 minutes left in regulation time; but then Gary Lineker scored two goals on penalty kicks in the 83rd and 105th minutes. In memory of this achievement under Nepomnyashchy’s leadership, Valery Street and the “Nepo” bar were established in Yaoundé.

They’re hiring through an ad. The idiots’ dream has come true.

30.05.2026

During the reign of those organic idiots from the checkers world in that proud little and utterly ridiculous federation, we’ve seen it all. All seven deadly sins of the world are embodied in these narrow-minded and morally castrated leaders. These sins were: pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust (or fornication), gluttony, and sloth. They wanted power, the love of the people, to profit off checkers, to humiliate their competitors, and were constantly envious of others’ successes. Along with two clownish brothers. And in the end, they’re dismantling the checkers even faster than we expected. Rare morons.

A market full of rotten vegetables with no one to hold accountable, and a field kitchen run by mummers

14.05.2026

If you happen to see a so-called international organization for the disadvantaged and disadvantaged start using a field kitchen to feed refugees and all kinds of migrants, and then open a free lunch program in its office for the destitute and unfortunate, don’t be surprised. This has been their mission for a long time. Then they’ll invite some clown with a head shaped like a misshapen egg to start playing a Tarot card game on a checkerboard—don’t be surprised by that either. That’s just how it is for people with low intelligence in a so-called international organization.

In violation of all legal, collegial, and international agreements, the latest “misfits” of checkers have decided to hold a European championship in Brazilian draughts.

Now let’s take a look at the thinking of the leaders of this so-called international checkers organization, who seem to suffer from mild intellectual disabilities: 1. You can’t find an organizer for the European Youth Championship in August. You save it at the last minute. 2. At the same time, you fail to meet the International Olympic Committee’s requirement regarding the admission of children, which you mentioned at the international organization’s meeting in December. 3. You can’t even assemble a strong team or organize a World Team Championship. 4. You hold some strange Portuguese draughts championships, and they are a complete fiasco. 5. And now, in direct violation of international agreements, you announce a Brazilian draughts championship! As if that’s going to work out… Tell me, what’s wrong with the management of draughts on the Western continent?

After all, this all resembles the efforts of an impotent bull. Who thinks that if it didn’t work out five times in a row, then the tenth time will definitely work out. Even if you switch cows? When did the decline begin?

The big names in Tallinn are playing and…

Estonia is increasingly hosting open national championships, which often attract participants from other countries. “Sherochka and Masherochka” and the International Federation’s analysis (Results Rapid)

06.05.2026

Can you imagine the following headlines: “Auschwitz prisoners welcome an exhibition of works by an Austrian artist with joy and flowers” or “Greek track and field athletes stripped of their gold medals from 848 B.C. after archaeologists analyzed doping samples found near Athens”? We can’t either, although given the events unfolding in the western part of the European continent, such news is entirely plausible.

George Orwell was right: “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

Inferiority and a stick-digger as a lifestyle and the meaning of existence

A little historical background: We danced in the garden on the playground, in front of the terrace, Sherochka and Masha, and it was a lot of fun. N. Kovalevskaya, “Memories of an old institute.”

Before the revolution, girls from good society always tried to speak French, even among themselves. The fascination with French fashions in everything – in clothes, behavior, and even in language – began in Russia sometime in the middle of the 18th century. However, Russia was no different from the rest of Europe. “And she could hardly speak her native language,” A.S. Pushkin wrote about Tatiana Larina in his poem “Eugene Onegin.” From childhood, learning a foreign language, noble children used their native language mostly in conversations with servants. That is, to order something to be done: hand it over, bring it, get out.

Such an inaccessible Bourgeois

01.05.2026

A bit of history: Bourges (fr. Bourges, lat. Avaricum Biturigum is the main city of the Cher department in France, on the river Yevre and the Berry Canal. Historically, it is the capital of the province of Berry and the Duchy of Berry. The population is 68,980 inhabitants (2008). The city stands at the confluence of the rivers Oron and Jevre. The distance to Paris is about 240 kilometers.

Before the arrival of the Romans, fortified Avarik was one of the most important cities in Gaul, the center of the Celtic tribe of the Biturigs. According to some estimates, it had about 40,000 inhabitants. In 52 BC, Vercingetorix courageously defended it from Julius Caesar (see the siege of Avarica). Diocletian made Avaric the capital of the province of Aquitaine the First.
