The Squirrel from Nõmme Kevad 2026 invites you once again to visit over the Easter weekend! One of Estonia’s oldest clubs looks forward to welcoming guests and is eager to meet new young talents who want to try their hand at playing on the large board. At Nõmme Kevad 2026, you’ll be greeted with kindness and warmth, respect, and care from the organizers. Come and enjoy the love of the game of checkers from April 10 to April 12, 2026!
Two years ago, Ruslan Peshcherov attended the tournament; a year ago, the legendary Zoya Golubeva brought her students. The tournament’s constant and legendary driving force is Heinar Jahu. At 92 years old, Heinar is determined to play again this year. He serves as an inspiration to many draughts players and a symbol of intellectual longevity.
