See you in August in Bratislava! We are waiting for everyone at the tournament!

So, it’s decided! We are flying to Bratislava in August! The annual international tournament “Bratislava Open-2025” will be held from August 25 to August 27, 2025. Within the framework of the “Bratislava Open-2025” three individual tournaments with a good Prize pool will be held. At the “Bratislava Open-2025” we are inviting you to play international draughts on a large and small board.

Bratislava is located in the foothills of the Lesser Carpathians, on both banks of the Danube and on the left bank of the Morava River. A smaller part of the town Petrzalka is located across the Danube. The city is directly adjacent to the borders with Austria and Hungary. It is noteworthy that only 60 kilometers separate Bratislava from the Austrian capital Vienna, which is the shortest distance between two capitals in Europe, excluding the Vatican and Rome.

The tournament, as always, will be held at a high level. Participants will be offered a 4-star hotel in the heart of Bratislava. If someone decides to live independently, they will be able to do so without losing their right to participate in the tournament. It’s just that the participation fee will be slightly higher. The choice is up to our participants!

Alexander Shvartsman and Zoya Golubeva, Yuri Kirillov and Markiel Fazylov, Yakov Schaus and Arunas Norvaishas, Denis Dudko, as well as many well-known and strong players took part in our tournaments. This year there will also be invited grandmasters from the top twenty of the international rankings!

Three tournaments will be held: Open tournaments in international draughts among adults and children, as well as a blitz tournament in Russian draughts.
